Frequently Asked Questions

NL-Lab is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. With the exception of official holidays.

You do not need to come to NL-Lab for sample collection.

If you want to use NL-Lab's services as a practitioner, you can register here. After you have registered with NL-Lab, you can use our studies.

You can find available tests for individuals in our webshop.

All other examinations can only be obtained through a registered practitioner. After we complete the examination, we will send the results back to your practitioner, who will then discuss them with you. If you are looking for a practitioner, please contact NL-Lab.

Yes, you can!

If your practitioner wants to use NL-Lab's services (on your recommendation), he/she can register here.

NL-Lab's analyses are provided in full compliance with current privacy laws. We do not work with patient data, but with sample codes specified by the practitioner. As a result, only the practitioner knows which patients the analysis data belong to.

NL-Lab does not take blood from patients itself, this can be done by external blood collection sites. This is always done in consultation with your doctor or therapist.

If finger prick blood is needed for analysis, you can collect and send it yourself (at home) using the instructions in our test kit.

We are open to any doctor or therapist who wants to use our services. Also abroad. Shipping medical material from abroad is not a problem, precisely because it does not matter to our technology if a sample takes a little longer to travel. We use UPS Express for shipping.

As a rule, analysis results are available within a maximum of 14 days (10 working days) of receipt.

NL-Lab's research falls under non-contracted care. This means that, in principle, health insurers reimburse 60% of the costs. However, this is often not clearly stated in the terms and conditions of the insurers. Do you want more certainty about reimbursement? Check with your health insurer.

Invoices from NL-Lab must be paid within 30 days of invoicing.

NL-Lab carefully monitors quality. For validation of tests, NL-Lab uses ISO16140 and comprehensive laboratory quality standards such as ISO 17025.

The analytical equipment we use is CE IVD certified.

In addition, our COVID-19 saliva tests are also approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
