Do a parasite test at home for €125
Our research is the most comprehensive parasite test on the market and identifies the 16 species responsible for more than 95% of parasitic intestinal infections worldwide.

Symptoms of parasitic infection
A parasitic infection in the gastrointestinal tract can cause various symptoms, depending on the type of parasite and the degree of colonization.
Parasites can disrupt the gut ecosystem and thereby cause a variety of symptoms:
- Abdominal pain or cramps
- Diarrhea or alternating stools
- Bloated feeling
- Fatigue
- Nausea
- Reduced absorption of nutrients
And even in severe cases: watery diarrhea, meteorism, projectile vomiting, subcutaneous growth and mobility, body protrusion via the throat, eye, and skin, and finally, high fever and comatose states.

Parasitic infections are becoming more common
Many people think that parasites only occur in distant countries, but nothing could be further from the truth. It has multiple causes.
- People are much more mobile than before. Nowadays, we vacation in every corner of the world. In many of these (sub)tropical holiday destinations, the risk of a parasitic infection is much higher than in the more temperate zones of the earth.
- Our food. Think of fresh (uncooked) vegetables or fruit from your own garden or the supermarket. But raw and undercooked meat can also be a cause. Fresh vegetables and fruit are of course very healthy, but unfortunately, this also carries risks (such as parasites).
- A third important cause of intestinal parasites is our way of living with animals and pets. We now live in close proximity to each other with many people and animals. Many parasites use animals as hosts, which means there is a risk of infection here as well.
- The average temperature on Earth is rising. While this has and will continue to have a significant impact on the economy and society, the spread of (sub)tropical diseases to previously cooler regions is a direct consequence.
