During this interactive lab day, you will dive into the world of the gut microbiome: from both an ecological and a practical approach.

The gut microbiome is a complex ecosystem in which bacteria continuously cooperate, compete, and influence each other. During this day, you will learn how this dynamic works, how disruptions can lead to symptoms, and how you can specifically target the restoration of balance through diet and lifestyle.

You will gain insight into how to interpret microbiological data based on relationships rather than isolated values. The focus is on functional groups, metabolic activity, and translating this into practice.

Unique to this day is the exclusive lab excursion. You get a look behind the scenes at NL-Lab and see how microbiological analyses are performed. Our lab technicians take you through the process and provide concrete insight into the technology and science behind the reports.
