About Biotrack / NL-LAB

Biotrack was founded in 2007 and is a growing company with approximately 14 FTEs, with ambitious plans to expand to 20–25 employees in the next two years. The organization is led by a compact and decisive three-person management team.

Biotrack operates at the intersection of health and technology and focuses on three strategic pillars:

  • NL-LAB (Laboratory)
    In the microbiological laboratory in Leeuwarden, we develop innovative test kits aimed at improving (mental) health.
  • VET-LAB (Laboratory)
    Test kits for animal health with strong growth potential.
  • R&D – Antibiotics
    Collaboration with an academic hospital regarding antibiotic resistance.
  • In-house Technology
    Development of proprietary analysis equipment for the medical sector.

Our ambition: rapid growth in customers and revenue.
That is why we are also building a strong marketing foundation, and you will help establish it.

What are you going to do?

This is a broad role:

  • Supporting marketing campaigns (online & offline)
    • Managing and updating website and content
    • Preparing and scheduling social media posts
    • Contributing to email marketing and newsletters
    • Assisting with events, trade shows, and promotions
    • Administrative marketing tasks (schedules, lists, CRM)
    • Gathering, designing, and organizing content (text, images, video)
    • Collaborating with sales and marketing specialists to support campaigns
    • Contributing ideas for campaigns and improvements


You help realize campaigns, content, and communication from idea to execution.

What we are looking for

We are not looking for a specialist.

Someone who wants to learn, do, and make.

  • Recently graduated (MBO/HBO) in marketing, communication, or similar
  • You are organized and maintain an overview
  • You enjoy doing different things at the same time


Creatively minded: you have a feel for visuals, text, and design. 

• You pick things up quickly and don't wait around
• Basic knowledge of social media and online marketing
• You write well and communicate clearly
• You are proficient with tools (Office, Canva, and possibly Adobe CC)
• You work accurately and in a structured manner

Preferred:
• Internship experience in marketing or communications
• Affinity with health, lifestyle, or the medical sector
