Privacy statement
NL-Lab complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data is processed in accordance with the statutory provisions, such as the Personal Data Protection Act and, as of May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation. When executing agreements between NL-Lab and its customers, we need personal data for contact, identity verification, payment information, and feedback on test results.
Some of the data is also used for scientific analysis of test results. Only the necessary data is used, namely the test results, very limited clinical information, and certainly no personal data.
As a company, we want to provide our customers with services that meet their needs. To do this, we use data to maintain contact, for example, by sending newsletters.
In addition, NL-Lab processes personal data of employees that are necessary for normal business operations.
NL-Lab ensures that as few people as possible have access to personal data. The computer systems where personal data is stored are located only within NL-Lab's premises. This data is stored on secure hardware.
Your personal data will not be retained for longer than is necessary for the purposes described in this privacy statement or on the website, except in cases where NL-Lab is legally obliged to retain the data.

NL-Lab uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. These cookies are used exclusively for technical functions such as the proper and optimal functioning of the website, for example, keeping track of preference settings and/or delivering customized content. You can opt out of cookies by configuring your internet browser to no longer store them. You can also delete all previously stored information through your browser settings.
You have the right to request access to the personal data we process about you. You can:
- have your personal data (such as your address) supplemented, corrected or deleted;
- object to the processing of (part of) your personal data;
In the event of a request, we will provide you with information about the actions we have taken in response to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within one month of receiving it. You always have the right to lodge a complaint with NL-Lab and/or the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
