Privacy declaration

NL-Lab adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data is processed in accordance with the legal provisions such as the Personal Data Protection Act, and as of 25 May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation prescribes. When executing agreements between NL-Lab and its customers, we need personal data for contact, verification of identity, payment details and feedback of test results.

Some of the data is also used for scientific analysis of test results. Only the necessary data is used, namely the test results and very limited clinical information. Certainly no personal data.

As a company, we want to provide our customers with services that meet their needs. For this we use data to keep in touch, for example to send newsletters.

In addition, NL-Lab processes personal data of employees that are necessary for normal business operations.

NL-Lab ensures that as few people as possible have access to personal data. The computer systems where personal data are stored are only within NL-Lab’s business premises. This data is stored on secure hardware.

Your personal data will not be kept for longer than is necessary for the purposes described in this privacy statement or on the website, except in those cases in which NL-Lab is legally obliged to keep the data.

Website

NL-Lab uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. These cookies are used exclusively for technical functions such as the correct and optimal functioning of the website and, for example, keeping preference settings and/or delivering customized content. You can turn these cookies off via your internet browser settings. You can also delete all information that has previously been stored via these settings in your browser.

You have the right to request access to the personal data that we process about you. Here you can:

  • have your personal data (such as your address) completed, corrected or deleted;
  • object to the processing of (part of) your personal data;

In the event of a request, we will provide you with information as soon as possible, but in any event within one month of receipt of your request, about the actions we have taken in response to your request. You always have the right to submit a complaint to NL-Lab and/or the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
